All teaching staff employed by Balcombe Grammar are expected to participate in a range of duties beyond classroom responsibilities. These duties may include participation in meetings, professional development, assessment and reporting, meeting with parents, co-curricular and pastoral care programs.
All people employed by the school must be eligible to work in Australia and candidates applying for teaching appointments must be registered with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
