Duke of Edinburgh Real Tennis

Balcombe Grammar School Year 10 student, Robbie Ewing, was lucky enough to meet with Royalty on Saturday 7 April. Prince Edward Earl of Wessex, took the time during his recent visit to Australia for the Commonwealth Games to meet with a select few Duke of Edinburgh Award participants and introduce them to the game of ‘Real Tennis’. The Prince was representing his father, the Duke of Edinburgh, who founded the Scheme in 1956. Robbie is currently completing the Silver Level of the Award. We are very proud that Robbie had the opportunity to be part of this group and such a unique experience.
