Homestay offers international students the opportunity to live in a local home while studying in Australia.
Both students and families can learn about another culture first hand. It also gives international students an opportunity to practice their English. Families will see their students improve every day and new friendships are quickly formed as families share their stories and customs throughout the stay.
Homestay accommodation must be near or within easy access of the school. Families need to provide students with their own bed, three meals a day, laundry facilities and be cared for as a member of the family.
Volunteer host families receive a payment for non-reciprocal arrangements.
All adults over 18 years of age will need to provide a copy of a current Working with Children Check (WWCC). If you do not have a current WWCC please apply for please click on the link below.
