Australian Jiu Jitsu Championships

Over the weekend, Year 8 Balcombe Grammar student, Spencer Quayle, competed in the 2019 Australian Jiu Jitsu Championships at the Melbourne Sports & Aquatic Centre.

Against the best competitors in Australia for his weight, age and yellow belt division, Spencer came away with a silver medal. Spencer’s Family said they are very proud of his achievements and hope one day he will compete for Australia.

The school community congratulates Spencer on his outstanding performance, on-going commitment and dedication to his sport.
