BGS Alumni Mackenzie Eardley earns Hawks call-up

Balcombe Grammar School congratulates, Class of 2021 Alumni, Mackenzie Eardley on her selection as Pick 6 in the 2022 NAB AFLW Draft.

The Hawthorn Football Club said the Dandenong Stringrays co-captain boasts a strong intercept mark and powerful kick. She is a ready-made AFLW player and possesses leadership ability as well as elite skill.

Mackenzie’s journey has been an exciting one since starting her journey at the local footy club, Beleura. Recently selected in both the NAB League Girls Team of the Year and the 2022 NAB AFLW National Championships she represented Vic Country and earned the under 18 All Australian honours.
