Emerging Filmmaker Celebrated

In Unit 1 Media last year, current Year 12 student Leah Reaper created a brilliant Film Noir Short Film titled ‘A Sweet Deal’ starring Leala Roberts and Fletcher Reaper.

After some re-editing post-assessment, Leah submitted it to the prestigious Peninsula Film Festival, where it not only became a finalist but also tied for first place in the ‘Emerging Filmmakers’ category.

This well-deserved recognition highlights the creativity, dedication, and passion that went into Leah’s exceptional work, which resonated with both audiences and judges alike. Congratulations Leah!
