JDRF Fundraiser

During this time in lockdown, Balcombe Grammar Year 9 student, Matilda, has decided to take part in the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) One Walk.

As someone who lives with Type 1 Diabetes, Matilda understands the important work of the JDRF who not only support diabetics but also undertake important research into treatments and hopefully a cure for Type 1 Diabetes.

This year as the annual fundraising walk will be virtual due to COVID-19, Matilda will be walking 120,000 steps around her neighbourhood to support and raise money for all diabetics around Australia.
