Balcombe Grammar congratulates Year 10 student, Geena Davy who competed at the Australian Track & Field Championships in Sydney this week.
Geena came second in both the U16 Girls Triple Jump with a distance of 12.12m and U16 Girls Long Jump with a distance of 5.65m, which was only 1cm from first place and is a Club Record for the Mornington Peninsula Athletics team.
Competing at State and National Championship level requires many hours of training, practice and preparation. Geena’s on-going commitment and dedication to her sport is outstanding and these latest results are certainly a reflection of her hard work.
