Bronze medal at the SIS Teen Chef competition

The annual Southern Independent Schools (SIS) Teen Chef competition was held last Thursday 30 July at John Paul College in Frankston.

A culinary event for secondary students across members schools in Victoria, teams prepare a range of creative main and dessert dishes which are evaluated by professional chefs from the Australian Culinary Federation.

This year, the Balcombe Grammar team competed against 13 other schools from our region and scored between 70-80 out of a possible 100 points for their kitchen skills and final dishes.

We congratulate our students, Noah Finn, Louie Bryne, Iris Bocskor and Zara Dean, who represented the school with pride, performing to a high standard and enjoying the experience.
