On Thursday 7 September, Year 12 student and Balcombe Grammar School Captain, Ravi Moss was awarded the Mornington Peninsula Youth Recognition Award in the category of mental health and wellbeing.
The Youth Recognition Awards recognises the many young people who give back to their communities, whether through volunteering, environmental stewardship, leadership, or supporting mental health and wellbeing.
Ravi was nominated for his advocacy for mental health and wellbeing among young people. From posting on his shoe selling business socials throughout lockdowns when he was only 14, to raising funds for Movember, Ravi has helped to support the many students at school Balcombe and beyond, who reach out to him thanking him for being brave enough to share his lived experience, so they know they are not alone.
We extend a huge congratulation to Ravi for receiving recognition for all the wonderful work he has done in this space over the years.
