Student art showcased at New Wave 26

New Wave 26 celebrates five years of Mornington Peninsula Regional Gallery support for emerging creative voices from the Mornington Peninsula region.
 
The exhibition features work by VCE students across art, visual art, media arts, fashion, design and technology, and reflects on themes of nature, the world around us and identity, revealing how young artists interpret the world around them.
 
This year, we are proud to have five Balcombe students exhibiting their work:

VCE Visual Communication Design
  • Brodie Ackland
  • Freja Cleland

We congratulate our students, this is a wonderful recognition of their creativity and thank their dedicated teachers who have supported and inspired them to achieve excellence every step of the way. 

The New Wave 26 Exhibition is on display at the Mornington Peninsula Regional Gallery, Civic Reserve, Dunns Road, Mornington until 31 May 2026.
